Our client, Koch’s Foodland in Loxton, South Australia, is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Fruit and Vegetable Manager to take charge of their vibrant produce department. Located in the heart of South Australia’s beautiful Riverland region, Loxton offers a welcoming, community-focused lifestyle. As the Fruit and Vegetable Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring customers have access to the freshest, highest-quality produce.

You'll lead a dynamic team, drive sales growth, and play a key part in the store's ongoing success. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining top-quality displays, managing inventory, and driving sales growth while ensuring compliance with all food safety standards.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include**
- Overseeing the daily operations of the fruit and vegetable department, ensuring stock levels meet customer demand.
- Managing a team of staff, including scheduling, training, and providing ongoing support.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the department.
- Monitoring stock levels, performing regular checks,



and placing orders with suppliers to minimise waste.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure quality produce at competitive prices.
- Driving customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Tracking and analysing sales data to develop strategies for growth and profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations.

**About You**

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with experience in produce management or a similar retail environment. You’re passionate about delivering top-quality service and products, and you thrive in a team-oriented environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Team management skills, with the ability to foster a positive team culture.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- An understanding of health, safety, and food safety regulations, always ensuring compliance.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
