Your Next Role
We are seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join our well-respected business and operate our Viking Automated Pallet Equipment. Viking machines are state-of-the-art machinery with innovative electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC controls, and have been trusted in pallet manufacturing for over 45 years.
With opportunities of Day and Afternoon shift available.
As a Machine Operator, you will:
- Operate and monitor the Viking automated pallet equipment safely and efficiently.
- Produce a variety of pallet types, including the ability to work with recycled lumber where required.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance.
- Follow all WHS protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Keep the Viking machine clean and well-maintained to ensure long-term performance.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.
About You
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or timber environment (experience with pallet equipment advantageous).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to a safe workplace.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop current skills in automated pallet production.
