About the role

Join the dynamic team at Edition Studio as a Production Assistant in our Print & Embroidery Studio. This is a casual role in our Truganina, VIC location, where you will play a key part in the printing and production processes for our range of custom apparel and products.

- Casual position
- 2–3 days per week
- Includes Saturday shift
- Additional hours available during busy periods
- Located in Truganina VIC 3029

What you'll be doing

- Assist with all aspects of the print and embroidery production processes, including garment preparation, printing, embroidery, and finishing
- Operate and maintain print and embroidery equipment to ensure high-quality output
- Collaborate with the production team to meet tight deadlines and ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to support efficient production
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a production printing, embroidery or apparel industry is a bonus
- Basic Adobe Illustrator or graphic file knowledge
- Familiarity with print and embroidery equipment and production processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality work
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual, positive attitude, fast learner
- Comfortable in a production environment, takes pride in quality workmanship

About us

Edition Studio is a family-run Melbourne print and embroidery studio established in 2013, specialising in premium custom apparel, uniforms and branded merchandise for businesses, brands, events and creators across Australia.

From our Truganina-based studio, we produce everything from embroidered corporate uniforms and hospitality workwear to custom t-shirts, hoodies, merch drops and one-off walk-in orders. Our work is all completed in-house using embroidery, DTF transfers, DTG printing and vinyl heat transfer methods.

Day-to-day at Edition Studio is hands-on, creative and fast-paced. One day you may be helping produce embroidered uniforms for a construction company, and the next assisting with merchandise for a local brand, event or business launch. We work closely with small businesses, trades, cafés, schools, creators and growing Australian companies who value quality decoration and great service.
