Experienced Swimming Pool Technician Al's Pools & Spas - Port Melbourne

Al's Pools & Spas is a boutique, well-established swimming pool business based in Port Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our growing team.

The Role

This position involves all aspects of swimming pool servicing and maintenance, working independently while being supported by a close-knit and experienced team.

The role is primarily hourly paid, with the opportunity to earn commission on self-initiated sales. For the right candidate, we are open to negotiating a salaried package or engaging the successful applicant on a contract basis, depending on experience, availability and preferred working arrangements.

About You

- Experienced pool technician with solid industry knowledge
- Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
- Well-presented and professional with clients
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills




- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
- Safety-conscious and detail-focused
- Able to provide relevant references
- Ideally located within 20km of Port Melbourne

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality swimming pool maintenance to residential clients
- Service properties across Inner Bayside Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula
- Manage customer bookings and appointments professionally
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, presentation and conduct
- Represent Al's Pools & Spas positively at all times

Requirements & What We Offer

- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Proven experience in pool maintenance and servicing
- Ability to work in a physically demanding workplace
- Must have valid Australian work rights

- Negotiable remuneration based on experience
- Commission on self-initiated sales
