About the Role We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a true "hunter" to generate new business, manage client relationships, and promote our metal fabrication services across the construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries in Sydney. Because we value elite sales talent, we are offering two distinct payment structures so you can choose the package that best fits your risk and reward profile.

Choose Your Compensation Path:

We want a partner who is motivated by the win. We are offering the successful candidate a choice between two structures:

- Option 1: The Safety Net (Small Base + Commission) Receive a modest, steady base salary to cover your basic living and travel expenses, paired with a strong, uncapped commission percentage on every contract signed.

- Option 2: The Max Upside (Pure Commission / High Reward) For the ultimate closer. A minimal retainer/expense allowance paired with a massive, top-tier commission percentage. With structural steel and fabrication contract sizes, this path offers an incredibly high, uncapped On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential.





What You’ll Be Doing:

- Lead Generation: Actively hunt and develop new business opportunities through site visits, cold calling, networking, and industry research.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, engineers, and project managers.

- Technical Collaboration: Understand client requirements and collaborate with our Banksmeadow fabrication team to deliver accurate quotes and tailored solutions.

- Closing Deals: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure the win.

- Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular pipeline updates.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, ideally within metal fabrication, structural steel, manufacturing, or construction.

- The Hustle: A self-starting mindset—you don’t need to be micro-managed to pick up the phone or visit a project site.

- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and contract-closing abilities.

- Technical Literacy: The ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings is highly advantageous but not essential.

- Mandatory Requirements: You must have a valid Australian driver’s licence, be currently based in Sydney, and hold valid permanent or temporary working rights.
