About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Hairdresser to join our team at Cutters His and Hers Hairdressing in Forest Hill . In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hairdressing services to our clients, showcasing your expertise and creativity. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our salon's high standards and contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing a range of high-quality hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, treatments.
2. Expert level experience in hair services is essential for this role
3. Consulting with clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, and delivering tailored hairdressing solutions
4. Maintaining a professional, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere in the salon
5. Mentoring and training junior stylists to develop their skills and expertise
6. Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and well-stocked
7. Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the salon

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Hairdresser in a busy salon environment
2. Proven expertise in a wide range of hairdressing techniques, including cutting, colouring, and styling
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
4. A creative and innovative approach to hairdressing, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques
5. Solid communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and train junior stylists
6.



A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene in the salon
7. Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing is required for this position
8. Valid Australian work rights are essential to be considered for this role
