We are seeking an experienced Planner Scheduler for an immediate start on a high-profile, 3-month contract based in the Altona North area of Melbourne, VIC.
The Project:
You will be joining a critical team supporting the demolition of a major oil refinery. This is a fast-paced, complex project environment with the scheduled demolition commencing on May 28, 2026.
The Role Details:
- Position: Planner Scheduler
- Duration: 3-month engagement ( ongoing to perm for the right candidate)
- Location: Altona North area of Melbourne, VIC
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Rate: Flat Rate of $80 per hour + Super
- Start Date: Immediate start required
About the Client: Our client is an award-winning, international contracting business specializing in complex deconstruction and remediation projects. They have a proven history across mining, oil and gas, energy, and defense sectors.
Their comprehensive integrated closure capabilities include:
- Closure studies
- Deconstruction and Dismantling
- Decommissioning (on and off-shore)
- Water Treatment plant design and operation
- Asbestos and hazardous material removal
- Remediation (including bio-remediation) and Rehabilitation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Planner Scheduler,
preferably within the heavy industrial, oil & gas, or demolition sector.
- Must hold a valid White Card.
- A strong preference will be given to local candidates living within the Greater Melbourne area who are able to drive to and from the residential Altona North site. Candidates located interstate may be considered but must be able to attend site visits, especially during the initial stages.
- Must be a permanent resident of Australia.
