Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3pfmsd
Manufacturing Health Solutions is a Brisbane-based contract manufacturer working with health, wellness, supplement, cosmetic and personal care brands.
We help clients move products from idea through formulation, sampling, production, packaging and launch preparation. As the business grows, we are looking for a practical and highly organised Project Coordinator to help keep client projects, production preparation and internal workflows moving.
This is not a technical food manufacturing role. You do not need to be a food scientist or production specialist. The role is better suited to someone with strong coordination, communication, follow-up and software skills.
You will work across client communication, new product development tracking, ClickUp task management, production order preparation, raw material ordering and supplier follow-up.
The right person will be structured, reliable, calm under pressure and comfortable chasing loose ends until they are resolved.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a day-to-day contact for assigned client projects.
- Send clear client updates on project progress, next steps and required information.
- Follow up clients for missing details, approvals, artwork, specifications and decisions.
- Track new product development projects from onboarding through to production readiness.
- Maintain task lists, due dates, project notes, milestones and status updates.
- Keep ClickUp updated with accurate tasks, checklists, due dates and comments.
- Help ensure important information is captured in the system rather than lost in emails, chats or conversations.
- Coordinate handovers between formulation, production, purchasing,
graphics and management.
- Support production order scheduling by helping confirm jobs are ready to proceed.
- Check whether required client approvals, raw materials, packaging and internal information are available.
- Track raw material and packaging requirements for upcoming jobs.
- Assist with supplier follow-up, lead time checks, delivery dates and stock availability.
- Flag shortages, delays, missing information and project risks early.
- Attend the Brendale site each working day for operational check-ins and team communication.
- Support management with project tracking, reporting and follow-up.
- Help improve internal workflows, templates and repeatable processes as the business grows.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in project coordination, administration, operations coordination, client service, account coordination, purchasing coordination or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong follow-up habits.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
- Confidence using software systems such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, Excel, Teams or similar.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and internal team members.
- A practical and organised approach to work.
- Willingness to learn the manufacturing and product development process.
Practical but not essential:
- Experience in manufacturing, supplements, cosmetics, food, FMCG, ecommerce, packaging or health products.
- Experience using ClickUp.
- Experience coordinating suppliers or purchasing.
- Experience working with production schedules.
- Experience working in a small or growing business.
- Exposure to product development or new product launches.
Work location and flexibility:
This is a Brisbane-based role at our Brendale site.
Flexible and hybrid work is available where practical, but this is not a fully remote role. The successful applicant must attend site each working day for operational check-ins, production coordination and team communication.
Some work may be completed from home where appropriate, but daily site presence is required.
Why join MHS?
This is a hands-on coordination role in a growing business where your work will have a direct impact.
You will help improve how client projects are managed, how production work is prepared, how internal teams communicate, and how product development moves from idea to production.
For the right person, this role can grow into a broader project management, client delivery or operations role over time.
Employment details:
- Full-time role
- Brendale, Brisbane QLD
- $70,000–$95,000 plus super, depending on experience
- Flexible/hybrid structure available
- Daily site attendance required
- Immediate or negotiable start date
