As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Armadale, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Armadale
Goodstart Early Learning Armadale is a not for profit organisation. This means that the funds from the revenue raised goes back to supporting your child through better resources and training educators
Our centre is licensed for 85 children aged from six weeks to five years
Our variety of rooms separate children into play areas with age appropriate furniture, activities and toys to assist in the development of skills such as social and emotional, physical, fine motor, cognitive and language skills




Our Educators are dedicated to providing the highest quality care and child interest based programs to all our families. We base our programs upon the national quality Early Years Learning Framework
We are located not far from the town centre of Armadale on the corner of Seventh and Forrest Road.

If you have previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar, then we’d love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.
You’ll need
A Diploma or bachelor’s in early childhood education
Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
