Join The Artisans Bottega as a Store Person with a current Forklift license, Fixed Term and dive into the dynamic world of DIY Italian food and beverage equipment. We are a family-owned business that evolved from a Wine Equipment supplier to a full-blown Italian Equipment store, boasting two physical stores, a warehouse, and an online store.

This role is pivotal in maintaining our warehouse up to date by controlling the goods in the inventory software as well as physically in the warehouse. Tasks like receiving purchase orders in the system, dispatching online orders, transporting transfers, and organising the warehouse.

This position is ideal for people who have experience in logistics and like using inventory software. Or those looking to pivot into a career in warehousing management, offering hands-on experience in the industry. Our Epping warehouse is around 850 sqm with a forklift racking system up to 4.1m reach, clean, tidy, modern, and a staff kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing daily warehouse operations and actively using the computer software for stock movements
- Receiving goods physically, checking them, putting them away, and entering purchase orders in the inventory software




- Daily picking, packing, and dispatching of online orders.
- Controlling inventory (software/physical) and warehouse operations. You will need to process pack downs, stock adjustments, fulfilments, wholesale, pick, pack, count, etc
- Organising and executing cycle counts, as well as, annual stock take
- Coordinating the packaging process. You will supervise the packing staff member and assign tasks
- Forklift driving when required (around 2-5 hours a week)
- Ordering supplies for packaging
- Unloading containers and receiving the goods in
- Receiving transfer and delivering the weekly transfer to our Laverton store using the company van.
- Drive the business van once a week to transfer stock between Epping to Laverton Store
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, functional, and protected is also essential

**Requirements**:

- Good skills with computers are essential. As you use the inventory software every day at work
- Experience in warehousing managing the stock levels, parcels in and out, bin locations, warehouse logistics, pack downs, goods organised in pallet racking, receiving containers, etc.
- Be fit and healthy.



Regular lifting of up to 25 kg onto a trolley and van loading is required.
- Good skills using warehouse tools like Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, trolleys, ladders, etc.
- Work and achieve results. Set yourself a goal per day of work and achieve it! Be solution-orientated. Results focused.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or within a group. Always pushing the boundary - Go for it!
- Any experience or knowledge in our Retail field will be advantageous.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
