**Summary**
**The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Develop, direct and implement supply chain data strategy aligned with organisational logistics and commercial objectives.
- Direct, control and coordinate supply chain data operations to support efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Oversee the collection, validation and governance of supply chain and logistics data across operational systems.
- Lead the design and delivery of analytical solutions supporting platform launch and ongoing optimisation.
- Translate operational data into strategic insights supporting supply chain and business decision-making.
- Oversee daily data operations ensuring accuracy, compliance and performance across reporting systems.
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks ensuring integrity, security and reliability of information.
- Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools tracking logistics performance indicators.
- Provide leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams including operations, IT and finance.
- Support forecasting, inventory optimisation and distribution planning using data modelling techniques.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, warehouse operations and distribution performance.
- Coordinate reporting processes supporting financial tracking, operational performance and planning activities.
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of data and analytics professionals,
including performance development.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to align data initiatives with operational requirements.
- Support integration of freight, courier and trade data into centralised reporting and analytics systems.
**Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role**:
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in data science, information systems, logistics, supply chain management or related discipline.
- At least three years of recent and relevant experience in supply chain data analytics or logistics data environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing data strategies aligned with operational and commercial supply chain objectives.
- Proven ability to oversee data operations, governance frameworks and performance reporting within logistics or distribution environments.
- Experience leading or supervising data, analytics or technical teams within a structured operational or corporate environment.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, finance and IT to drive organisational outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills supporting both internal coordination and external partner relationships.
