We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (Jim Scattini Ward) to provide high-level clinical leadership within Maternity Services at Katherine Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior midwife to step into a strategic leadership role, driving service excellence, workforce capability and continuous improvement in a unique and rewarding regional setting.

About the Role

- As the N6 Clinical Nurse Manager, you will:
- Provide high-level leadership and operational management of Maternity Services
- Act as a key clinical and strategic reference point across the multidisciplinary team
- Lead service planning, performance monitoring and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage human, financial and material resources to ensure sustainable service delivery
- Drive evidence-based practice and innovation to improve patient outcomes

About You

- You are a confident and experienced leader who brings:
- Extensive clinical and leadership experience in midwifery
- Strong strategic thinking and service planning capability
- Proven ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to culturally safe care
- Postgraduate qualifications or working towards them in the relevant specialty
