About the Role
Join a supportive Mental Health team where you’ll deliver recovery-focused care, build strong therapeutic relationships and support consumers across their mental health journey. As a Mental Health Nurse RN1, you’ll grow clinical capability and confidence in practice, while the Clinical Nurse RN2 role offers greater autonomy, mentoring and opportunities to contribute to service improvement and clinical leadership.
- Deliver recovery-focused mental health care and case management
- Build trusted relationships with consumers, carers and teams
- Support education, counselling and therapeutic group work
- Guide and mentor students, ENs and newer nursing staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Contribute to clinical improvement, protocols and care pathways
- Strengthen safe, person-centred practice and consumer outcomes
About You
Whether you’re an emerging Mental Health Nurse RN1 building confidence in practice, or a Clinical Nurse RN2 ready to lead and influence care delivery, you’ll bring compassion, sound clinical judgement and a strong commitment to recovery-focused mental health care.
- RN1: Build clinical skills in mental health nursing care
- RN2: Lead practice, support staff and guide care quality
- Current AHPRA registration and practising certificate
- Mental health qualification or Graduate Diploma level
- Partner with consumers, carers and multidisciplinary teams
