**About the role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our dynamic team at SA Eye Specialists Pty Ltd in Woodville South, SA. This is a part-time role with an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our eye care practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience.

**What you'll be doing**
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment calendar
- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Liaising with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a similar receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
- Must have Australian work rights or valid work visa to be eligible for this position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner




- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software, including scheduling and patient management systems
- A friendly, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to customer service
- A desire to contribute to the overall success and growth of the practice
