**About the role**

We are seeking a full time Production Assistant to join our team at Wagyu Biltong Co in Booragoon, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various meat processing tasks to support our efficient and high-quality production operations.

**What you'll be doing**
- Preparing meat products for processing
- Assisting with packaging and labelling of finished products
- Order fulfillment, scheduling and planning tasks in line with production needs
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work environment
- Collaborating with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise
- Adhering to strict health, safety and quality control standards
- Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation

**What we're looking for**
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment in the food / meat processing industry
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision
- Familiarity with food safety and workplace health and safety standards
- Valuable manual dexterity and knife skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good time-management,



communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-pace, dynamic workplace

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Booragoon WA 6154: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Meat processing : 1 year (preferred)
