Arias Disability Care is a fast-growing NDIS service provider committed to delivering first-class, person-centred care to individuals living with disability. As our team expands, we are currently looking for dedicated and experienced **Disability Support Workers** to support one of our high-needs NDIS participants in **Roselands, NSW**.

**About the Role**
We are seeking compassionate and skilled support workers to provide **1:1 in-home care** to a participant who requires a high level of support and is primarily bedridden. You will assist with:

- Personal care support
- Hoisting and manual handling
- Meal preparation
- Household tasks and maintaining a safe environment
- Community access and attending a day program
- Supporting attendance at medical and other appointments
- Encouraging participation in social and daily living activities

**Requirements**:

- Male or female applicants, ideally aged **20-30 years**:

- Must have **clear and fluent English communication skills** to assist the participant, who can have difficulty understanding at times
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to person-centred care
- Experience in personal care, manual handling, and community support (preferred)




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR (desirable)

This position requires **two support workers** at most times due to the complexity of care. Female workers with hoist and manual handling experience are strongly preferred.

**Key Requirements**
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or Mental Health
- At least 6 months’ experience supporting individuals with disability
- Experience in SIL and/or STA settings (advantageous)
- Manual handling and hoist experience (**essential**)
- **Female applicants strongly preferred** for this role
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificate
- COVID-19 fully vaccinated
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be willing to travel to Roselands, NSW
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control Training
- Excellent communication skills; **English must be first language**:

- Preferably Australian citizens only
- Able to provide 2-3 professional, industry-related references
