Lumia Care is seeking an experienced State Manager - Nursing Workforce to lead our South Australian operations based in Dulwich.
This is a senior leadership role within our Nursing Workforce portfolio, responsible for overseeing state based allocations and bookings, managing key client relationships and driving operational performance and growth.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Nursing Workforce, you will play a critical role in ensuring high quality workforce delivery, strong client partnerships and a high performing team culture aligned to Lumia Care values.
About the Role
As State Manager, you will be accountable for the end to end performance of the nursing workforce within South Australia.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Performance
Leading and developing the state based allocations, bookings and recruitment teamsDriving a high performance culture aligned to Lumia Care valuesMonitoring team performance, KPIs and service delivery standardsCoaching, mentoring and supporting team capability and development
Client Relationship Management
Managing and strengthening key client relationships across the stateEnsuring service delivery meets contractual and operational expectationsResponding to client feedback and implementing service improvementsRepresenting Lumia Care professionally in all client interactions
Workforce and Compliance Excellence




Ensuring high standards of end to end recruitment and bookings processesMaintaining compliance across AHPRA, mandatory training and workforce requirementsUpholding Lumia Care standards in the recruitment and management of casual staffProtecting and enhancing the Lumia Care brand
Business Development and Growth
Identifying growth opportunities within the South Australian marketSupporting business development initiatives aligned to organisational strategyCollaborating with internal stakeholders to support sustainable growth
Financial and Operational Accountability
Managing operational performance in line with budgets and targetsWorking closely with finance, payroll and people and culture teamsEnsuring operational efficiency across workforce supply and demand
Qualifications
You are a confident people leader with strong operational discipline and a client first mindset.
Required Skills
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, ideally within healthcare or workforce servicesStrong people management and performance leadership capabilityExperience managing client relationships in a service driven environmentSolid understanding of workforce compliance and operational standardsCommercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunitiesA values led approach aligned to Caring, Cooperative, Integrity and Responsive
