McDonald’s Ballina Shift Manager About the role Join the dynamic team of our client, McDonald's Ballina, as a Shift Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service at our restaurant located in Ballina, NSW 2478. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the restaurant and contribute to the overall success of the McDonald's brand. McDonald’s Ballina Central and Ballina BP Travel Centre are owned and operated by a local Franchisee Business Dewbrook Pty Ltd.

ABN: 88 217 299 573., with Licensee being Serrin Dewar. Serrin and her senior team are heavily involved int he day to day running of rate business and take a keen interest in the development of our management team. Perhaps you are already a Shift Manager or Department Manager with McDonald’s or other 'quick service' retailers, and you want to hone your skills further.

Our salaries are subject to the Fast Food Award, which has a base salary plus penalty rates depending on the roster. A typical roster equates to a salary range of approximately $75k-$80k base salary plus superannuation and benefits.

We offer a flexible roster across 7 days of the week ( both of our stores are open 24 hrs) , however this role is strictly full time. What you'll be doing Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling cash and stock control





Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings and weekends as required Ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety Providing coaching and support to crew members to develop their skills and grow within the organisation

Analysing sales data and staffing requirements to drive operational efficiency Acting as a brand ambassador and role model, embodying the McDonald's values and culture Collaborating with the restaurant management team to implement strategic initiatives

What we're looking for Previous experience in a management role, ideally within the hospitality industry. McDonald's qualifications a big advantage.

A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred for this position. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences

Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle daily operational challenges Numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data to drive process improvements A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Must be willing to relocate to or near Ballina. Candidates must have Australian work rights and be legally eligible to work in Australia Candidates must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this role.
