**About the Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Dietetics Department at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals in a temporary full time position as a Level 3 Senior Diabetes Dietitian role. This position offers the opportunity to work within the Diabetes Service (MDEMS) & Dietetics team. Services provided may include adults and paediatrics predominantly in the outpatient setting with some involvement with diabetes inpatients who require dietetic intervention. Campbelltown Hospital is currently undergoing a significant redevelopment which will provide new and expanded clinical services.

This position is temporary full time until October 2026 with the possibility of extension at same/reduced hours.

**What you'll be doing**

This position is responsible for providing patient centred and high quality nutrition services to clients, including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students and Level 1-2 dietitian as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development.

Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.

Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.

**How to Apply**
- Post graduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of complex case load including experience in the area of diabetes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group education skills and excellent computer skills including CBORD.
- Experience and knowledge in service development and quality improvement.




- Demonstrated ability in clinical supervision of students and/or staff.
