Barista required for immediate start - Mermaid Beach.

Chut & Co is a vibrant café located in Mermaid Plaza, Mermaid Beach. Since opening in 2023, we’ve become a local favourite for specialty coffee, toasties, smoothies, and milkshakes — all made with simple, high-quality ingredients. Our focus is on doing the basics right: great coffee, positive food, and friendly service in a relaxed coastal setting.

**About the Role**
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced barista to join our friendly team. The shifts are fixed each week, so we’re after someone dependable who can consistently work 4 days.
Each shift is between 6.5 and 8.5 hours.

**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages.
- Assist with light food preparation such as toasties and cabinet items.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and help with general café cleaning.
- Work collaboratively with a small, supportive team to deliver great service.





**About You**
- Proven barista experience — you can produce consistent, quality coffee under pressure.
- A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work at least 3-4 days per week, with flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
- Looking for a long-term position — we’re not seeking short-term staff or travellers, but someone who wants to grow with our team and be part of our café family.
- Team-oriented and proactive.
