- Conducting structured assessments to identify client needs, barriers and readiness for employment.
- Developing explicit pathway plans and connecting clients to appropriate services, training and supports.
- Acting as a navigation and referral service (not case management or job placement).
- Supporting the daily operations of the Employment Hub, including appointments, walk‑ins and coordination with service providers.
- Maintaining accurate client records and supporting data collection and reporting.
- Building effective working relationships with employment services, training providers and community organisations.
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Employment Hub Lead.

Are you passionate about supporting people to navigate employment pathways and overcome barriers to work?
You enjoy working directly with people and are motivated by helping individuals progress toward employment or education goals.
You are organised, approachable, and confident engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. You bring strong interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and the ability to adapt in a busy, community‑facing environment.
You will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client‑facing role within employment, community or support services.
- Demonstrated ability to assess individual needs and guide clients through pathways and referrals.
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and/or people facing employment barriers.
- Knowledge of local employment, training and support services (or ability to quickly build this knowledge).
- Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence using client management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
**Desirable**:
- Multilingual skills relevant to local communities.
- Experience in place‑based or partnership‑driven initiatives.
