**About the Centre/Service**

Dandenong Day Nursery is a community-based early childhood service that provides Kindergarten, Long Day Care and Family Day Care. Our Exceeding early childhood service was established on Bunurong land in 1976 and will celebrate 50 years in 2026. We are a small 54 place service with 4 rooms offering smaller groups of children a place to investigate, discover, explore and imagine. We have our early learners' rooms as well as separate 3 and 4 year old funded kindergarten. We are open from 7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are managed by a Management Committee and the City of Greater Dandenong Provide us with the facility to operate our service.

**Description**

We are currently seeking Diploma Qualified staff. We have 2 positions available. Full time with the opportunity to work a nine-day fortnight and permanent part time for the afternoons in our 3 and 4 year old kindergartens for the LDC program. We value the natural environment and provide an indoor / outdoor program. We are committed to child safety and have strong policies and processes in place to protect children and families. We are looking for staff who understand how to engage with children respectfully and are inspired to be creative in the delivery of early childhood experiences.

**Qualifications**

Diploma or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification essential. First Aid / Anaphylaxis / Asthma / CPR qualifications. Child protection
