We’re seeking a Director of Nursing/Facility Manager to lead the 46 bed Forest View Residential Aged Care facility in Wondai . This hands on leadership role offers real impact for residents, staff and the community. Aged care leadership experience is valued, with flexibility for nursing leaders from other settings.

What your day could look like

In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients, families and community through skilled, compassionate care. From making critical clinical decisions to working closely with colleagues across the service, your work will directly shape safe, positive health outcomes and impact the lives of patients and their loved ones.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

- Delivering evidence based‑ nursing care that supports recovery
- Participating in therapeutic, relationship-building, and dignity-affirming care
- Supporting creative and social activities that improve mood and wellbeing
- Using sound clinical judgement to assess, plan and evaluate care with patients and teams




- Collaborating to support patient safety and continuity of care
- Sharing knowledge, ideas and leadership that strengthen the team and improve practice

Here’s what will help you thrive

- Registration or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possession of an annual practicing certificate is mandatory
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make safe, informed decisions
- Explicit communication and a collaborative, respectful approach to care
- Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement
- Residential aged care facility management experience preferred
