About the Role
We are looking for a strong Casual Retail Assistant to support two busy stores across Mitcham and Glenelg. Working approximately 18-25 hours per week, this is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves connecting with customers, thrives in a fast-paced workplace and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
This role will see you working closely with store leadership across both locations, assisting with customer service, stock management, visual merchandising and creating a warm and engaging shopping experience for a mature customer demographic.
What You Will Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service and styling support
- Build genuine rapport with loyal customers and create repeat business
- Support day-to-day operations across Mitcham and Glenelg stores
- Assist with stock processing, replenishment and maintaining presentation standards
- Execute visual merchandising and maintain a beautiful store environment
- Support the leadership team during busy trade periods
- Work collaboratively to achieve sales and store goals
- Use initiative and stay productive in a fast-paced retail environment
What You Will Bring
- Previous retail experience within fashion, footwear, accessories or customer service
- A warm, approachable and confident communication style
- Ability to relate well to a mature customer demographic
- Strong work ethic and willingness to support where needed
- Confidence working in a busy, high-volume environment
- Physical capability to unpack stock and maintain the store floor
- Flexibility to work across both Mitcham and Glenelg locations
