We currently have some immediate openings for a number of casual forklift drivers to work the afternoon shift at our Port Melbourne depot. We currently have roles working Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm with a generous pay rate that includes both casual and afternoon shift loading.

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Based at our Port Melbourne site, this hands-on role is responsible for the safe movement and coordination of freight across the depot.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles and trailers
- Scanning, sorting and reconfiguring freight as required
- Re-palletising and preparing freight for shipping and linehaul movements
- Ensuring accurate and timely freight distribution
- Working to operational deadlines and following site procedures
- Identifying and reporting damaged freight in line with process
- Applying safe load restraint practices, including correct use of straps and equipment
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards
This is a fast-paced operational environment where accuracy, teamwork and a strong safety mindset are essential.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- A current and valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Experience in a freight, logistics or transport setting (highly regarded)
- A proactive approach to workplace safety
- The ability to follow instructions and established processes
- Confidence working independently and within a team
- Full working rights in Australia
