About the role:

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil construction activities across subdivision projects (up to 10 lots), roadworks, and TMR-related infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage both in-house crews and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications.
- Oversee projects from commencement through to completion, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, site coordination, and final delivery.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and relevant TMR and industry requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, suppliers, local authorities, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and site performance while proactively identifying and resolving onsite issues and construction challenges.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with WHS policies, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
- Prepare and maintain site records, daily reports, toolbox talks, pre-starts, and other project documentation to support successful project delivery.

What you'll bring:

- Proven experience in a Civil Supervisor or Leading Hand role within civil construction, with exposure to subdivisions, roadworks, and infrastructure projects.




- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, including earthworks, drainage, pavements, utilities, and TMR-related scope works.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage both direct labour crews and subcontractors to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
- Ability to confidently oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements, quality assurance processes, and civil construction compliance standards.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt, make decisions onsite, and keep projects moving efficiently.
- A proactive, energetic, and hands-on attitude - someone who brings a vibrant personality to the team, takes ownership, and leads by example onsite.
- A driven "go-getter" mentality with a genuine passion for civil construction and a desire to help build and grow something significant alongside a motivated team.
- Current Driver's Licence and relevant civil construction tickets/licences highly regarded.

Salary, Hours & Perks:

Salary: $145,000 to $150,000 plus super plus vehicle (dependent on experience)

Expected commitment: Up to 60 hours per week, this is down to how well you can run the job!
