What You’ll Do

As a Disability & Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering older Australians and individuals living with disabilities to live independently and with dignity in the comfort of their homes and communities.

Your responsibilities include:

- Personal care – Assist clients with daily living activities, hygiene, and personal care

- Meal preparation – Prepare nutritious meals suited to clients’ dietary requirements and care needs

- Medication management – Support clients in managing their medication schedules and adherence

- Mobility assistance – Assist clients with mobility challenges while ensuring their safety and comfort.

- Social engagement – Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients to promote emotional and mental well-being

- Transport support – Accompany clients to medical appointments,

- Visit summary – Keep accurate visit notes and progress reports, ensuring care plans are accurately followed and adapted to the clients’ evolving care needs

About You

We are seeking Support Workers in Melbourne who are committed to improving the lives of our seniors and families.

Mandatory requirements

- Qualifications – Australian Certificate III or IV in Aged, Disability Care, Individual Support or similar, or Nursing Qualifications

- Certifications – Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates (HLTAID009/0011)

Preferred requirements

- Location – Willing to provide home-based care in the Eastern Metropolitan area, including Doncaster, Box Hill, Blackburn, Ringwood, Camberwell and Balwyn

- Gender – Female Support Workers preferred for certain care visits involving hygiene and personal care for female seniors

- Transport – Full Victorian driver’s license with a reliable car to travel to client locations
