Our well established GP Clinic in Yarra Junction has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse / Practice Nurse to join our passionate and dedicated healthcare team. This is a permanent position (full-time /part-time) and offers the opportunity to contribute to the high-quality medical care we provide to our patients.
What you'll be doing
- Providing professional nursing care and support to our patients across all aspects of their treatment and recovery
- Assisting our general practitioners (7 doctors) with examinations, procedures, and other clinical duties
- Undertaking health assessments, vaccinations, wound care, and other nursing responsibilities
- Triaging patients & prioritisation of emergency situations
- ECG
- Iron infusion
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Contributing to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Immunisation provider certificate (desirable but not essential)
- Best Practice medical software experience (desirable but not essential)
- Must be able to multi task & be very organised in a busy environment
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
