About Us
At the City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE), we’re building a welcoming, liveable city, made by people and proudly located on Kaurna Country.
Our focus is on community, our economy, environmental sustainability and building high-quality places for people to enjoy. We’re on an ambitious trajectory, but our organisation is up for the challenge.
Yitpi Yartapuultiku is one of the most powerful expressions of this commitment, a co‑led First Nations Cultural Centre grounded in Country, culture and connection. It is a welcoming place where First Nations peoples, local community and visitors come together to learn, share and connect.
We are looking for a Manager who will lead the Yitpi Yartapuultiku’s future - shaping it as a vibrant community place and a respected cultural destination. Working alongside Custodians,

About you
You are an experienced senior leader with robust community relationships and sound commercial judgement. You’ve successfully led culturally based or community‑focused organisations, turning vision into strategy and sustainable outcomes. You build capable teams, manage complex facilities and budgets, and create places people feel welcome. With cultural competence and respect for First Nations governance, you lead with integrity, self‑determination, and support of others to deliver lasting community impact. Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
What we offer and considerations
We acknowledge this role is identified and includes opportunities related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, governance and community engagement.
Notes
We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region and extend our respect to custodians and Elders who have passed, those amongst us and those emerging.
