The McArthur River project is an exciting new opportunity for experienced Tyre Fitter Leading Hands to step into a high performing operation. This project offers consistent work and a strong team environment. It’s a great opportunity for those who want to further develop their skills on-site.

THE POSITION

The Leading Hands will provide a high level of continuous service on site by supporting the operations of the workshop, office, stock and personnel, and will also ensure the contracted scope of work is performed and maintained to a high standard.

ABOUT YOU

- Preferably two years of Leading Hand experience in the earthmover industry
- A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy or equivalent Tyre Fitting Competency; AUR21916/AUR21920
- A valid C Class driving licence; HR/LR advantageous
- A current Work Safe/ High Risk Forklift Ticket
- Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
- Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- Candidates residing in Darwin are highly regarded.
