Kinder Gymnastics Coach – City of Canada Bay Council

Location: Rhodes and Five Dock, New South Wales, Australia. Employment type: Part Time. Salary: $63,576 to $73,112 per annum (pro rata) + super.

This is a permanent, part-time position (17 hours per week) based at Rhodes Recreation and Five Dock Leisure Centre, with some Saturday and Sunday shifts; weekend penalty rates apply.

Responsibilities

- Lead and assist in day-to-day operations through coaching and overseeing a wide variety of classes from 6 months to 5 years.
- Coach across a wide range of programs and mentor other coaches while demonstrating creativity through weekly program themes.
- Assist with responding to customer feedback and complaints as required.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Commit to working with the Child Safe Standards and align professional practice with the outcomes of Council’s Child Safe Action Plan.

About The Role

Our Gymnastics department is recruiting a Kinder Gymnastics Coach who delivers exceptional customer service and represents gymnastics in a professional, safe manner. The role contributes to enhancing the overall customer experience by providing quality service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about Council Services.

About The Person

To be successful, candidates should have:

- Holding or working towards a current Gymnastics Australia Accreditation or Early Childhood Certificate or Diploma
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Proven experience in excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively at all levels




- Ability to help little movers learn, play, and grow in a fun, supportive environment

Essential Requirements

- First Aid Certificate
