Our client has been rescuing and caring for native animals for over 30 years, their mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife. Join their fun and dynamic team in Brookvale in this pivotal role. With over 3,000 volunteers in 28 branches, receiving around 170,000 calls annually. They are the largest wildlife rescue organisation in Australia and play a major role in national community wildlife education.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is focused on supporting donors, volunteers and external organisations, by providing exceptional service to promptly process all transactions. There will also be chance to drive process improvement and support automation projects around invoice processing and payments.

**Your new role**:

- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices and reimbursement of member expenses, ensuring the correct coding and allocations
- Accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Review and report on aged payable balances
- Responding to enquiries from suppliers, members,



and stakeholders within the organisation
- Maintain job code register for expense tracking
- Database management of the fleet of vehicles, including managing the insurance premiums and claims
- Assist the Finance Manager with grants paid reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closure
- Supporting the finance team with external audit queries

**To be successful you will be**:

- Min 2-5 years Accounts Payable experience ideally in high-volume transactions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and consistently
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels both internal and external
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and 'think outside of the box
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of GST & tax invoice requirements
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and MYOB experience desirable
