Our Rocklea operations are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager with Defense experience to join our growing service team.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the workflow of our workshop in Rocklea ensuring we are maintaining and repairing a variety of trucks and trailers to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dealing directly with Customers and issues that arise
- Organising day to day work and prioritising workflow as required
- Checking paperwork to ensure completed correctly
- Over seeing the workshop staff
- Explaining service options and processes
- Effective communication with colleagues
- Checking and ensuring workshop paperwork is correct
- Ensuring workshop and all practices are in accordance with WHS.
What We’re Looking For
- Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Defense Experience
- Attitude: A strong “can-do” approach and willingness to get hands-on
- Passion: Pride in your trade and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Customer Focus: Understanding the importance of excellent customer service
- Team Player: Positive communication skills and effective time management
