About us
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS): provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.
The Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services works in collaboration with the local hospitals, other mental health and alcohol and other drugs teams, as well as primary health, community, and private sector providers to reduce the symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the role
A Senior Mental Health Clinician in the Gladstone Crisis Support Space (CSS) will be the clinical lead in supporting a peer led, mental health, alcohol and other drugs service for people who present in crisis.
The CSS provides a safe alternate to the chaos of an Emergency Department in a therapeutic non-clinical environment led by peers with a lived experience of mental health crisis.
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of mental health whilst supporting peer workers to lead and navigate people through their time at the CSS.
About you
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
Occupational Therapy
Psychology
Social Work
Registered Nurse
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $***** - $***** p.h.
*****% employer superannuation contribution
