The CALMM is currently seeking both a Remedial Massage Therapist and a Lymphatic Massage Therapist to join our Newport studio.
These roles may suit two different practitioners, or one therapist with dual skill sets. What matters most is alignment with our ethos and a shared respect for calm, considered, and intentional bodywork.
About The CALMM
The CALMM is a holistic wellness sanctuary located in Rose Bay and Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Since opening in 2018, we have been devoted to redefining massage and bodywork as more than symptom relief, offering it as a deeply restorative and nervous system led experience.
We specialise in lymphatic drainage, fascia focused therapies, remedial massage, and integrative healing modalities that support physical, emotional, and energetic balance. Our team works collaboratively in a space that values presence, professionalism, and care.
The Roles
We are open to applications for either of the following roles:
Lymphatic Massage Therapist
This role is ideal for a practitioner who works with gentleness, precision, and a strong understanding of the lymphatic system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering manual lymphatic drainage treatments
- Supporting detoxification, inflammation reduction, post surgical recovery, and fluid balance
- Working in a way that prioritises nervous system regulation
- Assessing lymphatic congestion and adapting techniques accordingly
- Educating clients on aftercare and supportive self care
- Maintaining accurate client notes and treatment records
Remedial Massage Therapist
This role suits a therapist with solid clinical skills who enjoys working with soft tissue, fascia, and movement patterns,
while maintaining a calm and considered approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high quality remedial massage treatments
- Assessing and treating muscular, fascial, and postural dysfunction
- Supporting injury recovery, pain management, and mobility
- Integrating myofascial release, acupressure, and gentle mobilisation
- Providing client education around recovery and long term wellbeing
- Maintaining professional treatment notes and records
We are looking for those who:
- Hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent
- Have experience in remedial massage, lymphatic drainage, or both
- Value quality of touch, presence, and intention over force based work
- Are aligned with holistic and integrative health principles
- Are registered with private health funds or willing to become registered
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a values led team

These roles are based at The CALMM Newport, NSW.
