BDA provides Through Life Support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) fleet of P-8A Poseidon aircraft at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our project management team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical Defence capability while advancing your career in project management.

This position is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.

As the Project Coordinator you will:

- Coordinate baseline change management activities, ensuring proper documentation and approval of changes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, ensuring alignment with program requirements.
- Participate in the production and analysis of metrics related to project plans.




- Collaborate with Program and project personnel to conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases.
- Collect, organize, and provide data updates to maintain the status of projects, schedules, and commitments from customers and suppliers.
- Identify and report on performance variances, project status, and change information to the project team.

About you

You are an analytical thinker and effective communicator who is comfortable working both autonomously, and participating collaboratively across teams. You are someone who enjoys establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and you are willing to work with teams to review and drive continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to assist in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to problem solve, provide critical thinking and adapt easily to quick changing situations.
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office and Jira/Confluence.
- Previous experience in a project coordination or project management role is desirable but not essential.




- Formal project management or business management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian Defence security clearance.
