Senior Accountant | Large National Groups | North Melbourne (Current Office)
Looking for your next step without stepping into management?
We’re working with a quality boutique firm based in North Melbourne that’s looking to add a Senior Accountant to strengthen their team. This role is ideal for someone looking to work with larger, more complex client groups and wants exposure to sophisticated structures - particularly in property and investment.
The Role
- Manage and deliver compliance for large, multi-entity client groups
- Work across complex structures including trusts, companies and groups
- Apply technical knowledge around Division 7A, trust losses and group structures
- Gain strong exposure to property development, build-to-rent and investment portfolios
- Support and mentor junior accountants on a 1-on-1 basis (no formal reviewing role)
- Work closely with experienced leaders in a collaborative,
non-hierarchical team
About You
- Over 5 years’ experience in public practice accounting
- Strong hands-on experience with larger client groups (multiple entities)
- Solid technical grounding in Division 7A and trusts
- Motivated, curious and keen to keep learning
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
