Boiler Maker (Heavy Structural, Workshop Based)

TC Steel is a family‑owned & operated business operating in Regional NSW & QLD for over a decade. We are based in Westbrook QLD & Jindera NSW, servicing the local region with capacity to deliver locally manufactured steel across NSW, Victoria & Queensland.

This position is based in our Westbrook, QLD (Toowoomba) Workshop.

We are looking to expand our team, to increase our service offering to existing and new contract opportunities, regionally and interstate. All works would be completed locally by our local team, with our transport arm delivering interstate.

Work is not limited to mild steel fabrication; we also provide complete structural and industrial fabrication, repairs and maintenance to company‑owned equipment, and specialised metalwork items.

Responsibilities & Qualifications





- Pass a weld test.
- Read drawings.
- Open & close workshop.
- Take direction – reporting directly to Workshop Manager.
- Have a forklift licence.
- Experience leading a workshop and/or managing an apprentice (preferred but not required).
- Trade qualification in Cert III Engineering – Fabrication, or 3‑5 years relevant fabrication experience.

Compensation & Hours

Full‑time, hourly rate and working hours negotiated on experience; overtime on offer as part of the package.
