Position Summary
The Motorcycle Mechanic/Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and testing motorcycles to ensure secure and reliable operation. The role requires robust technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.
This position supports the day-to-day functioning of the workshop and contributes to maintaining Leader Motorcycles’ reputation for quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues across various motorcycle models.
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, tyre fitting, chain adjustments and safety inspections.
Repair and overhaul motorcycle engines, transmissions, suspension components and braking systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components including wiring, batteries, starter systems and ignition systems.
Conduct test rides to validate repairs and ensure all work meets safety and performance standards.
Install aftermarket accessories, performance upgrades and custom parts.
