About the Opportunity
As a Chef, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Taking direction from the Head Chef
- Ensure delicious, well‑balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
- Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control
- Purchase and order stock and equipment
- Ensuring all food is prepared,
cooked and served in accordance with legislation
About You
To be successful, you'll need:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
- Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
- Experience with texture modified food advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co‑workers
Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check.
