**POOL LIFEGUARDS - CASUAL**

Intending applicant Lifeguards should possess demonstrated experience, working in an Aquatic Centre or similar setting. They must hold a current RLSS - Australia Pool Lifeguard Licence or above, or equivalent (or ability to readily acquire prior to commencement), current working with children check (or ability to readily acquire prior to commencement) and a working knowledge of roles and responsibilities under WHS Legislation. Junior Lifeguards need to be capable swimmers and be prepared to obtain Lifeguard qualifications.

**Condition of employment**
- Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award and Council’s salary structure.
- A satisfactory health assessment, drug and alcohol screening,



police and working with children check is a pre-requisite to an offer of employment.

**Employment eligibility**

Only Australian citizens, or those eligible to work in Australia will be offered positions with Council. You may be required to supply one of the following documents as proof of employment eligibility:

- Australian Birth Certificate.
- Australian Citizenship Certificate.
- Passport - valid Visa.
