About the Role
As a volunteer at the Narrogin and Dryandra Visitor Centre, you will be part of a welcoming team that helps visitors make the most of their time in our region. Your main duties include greeting visitors, providing information about local attractions, dining, and accommodation options, and assisting with merchandise sales.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for friendly, approachable people with good communication skills and a genuine interest in our community and tourism. No previous experience is required; full training and ongoing support are provided.

Time Required
4‑hour shift 10 am‑2 pm on weekdays and weekends once or twice a month
Training
All recent volunteers receive full onboarding and orientation training to become familiar with the Visitor Centre facilities, procedures, and visitor services standards. After that, volunteers will shadow an experienced Customer Service Officer for several shifts to gain confidence in assisting visitors, handling enquiries, and using the Centre’s resources. Ongoing support and guidance are always available from the Visitor Centre team.
