About the Role
We are seeking a Wool Broker / Wool Buyer to manage operations at our Bordertown facility. This is a hands‑on role where your wool knowledge and people skills will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day wool store operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and mentor a small team to achieve productivity and safety targets.
- Liaise with wool growers and stakeholders to maintain solid relationships.
- Coordinate logistics, including transport and inventory management.
About You
- Wool industry experience and a current Wool Classer’s stencil.
- A natural ability to build rapport with wool growers and industry partners.
- A valid MR Truck Driver’s Licence.
- Prior leadership and team management skills or a willingness to step‑up to a leadership role.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
