About the Role
Warwick Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Midwife to join their Midwifery Group Practice team. You will provide high-quality midwifery care, including foetal surveillance, neonatal resuscitation, and support across the continuum of care in a rural hospital setting.
Requirements
- On-call availability (mandatory)
- Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) experience
- Foetal Surveillance Education
- Cannulation
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
Contract Details
Role: Registered Midwife - Midwifery Group Practice
Start Date: 15 December 2025
End Date: 25 January 2026
Hours per Fortnight: Up to 80 hours
Travel & Accommodation: Travel costs from Brisbane capped at $200 each way
Facility: Warwick Hospital
State: Queensland
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
Bed and Scope
Warwick Hospital provides a small rural maternity service with Midwifery Group Practice, supporting low- to moderate-risk pregnancies. The role involves cooperative care, antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal support, and participation in neonatal care as needed.
