Nangwarry Primary & Preschool is a small, vibrant school community located in the township of Nangwarry, approximately 33 kilometres north of Mount Gambier in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children from preschool to Year 6, with a strong focus on individual growth, wellbeing, and academic success. Summary of Role:
Deliver high quality teaching and learning programs for Reception to Year 2 students, fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum planning and implementation:
Design and deliver engaging, differentiated curriculum in all learning areas of the Early Years Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
Student wellbeing:
Establish and maintain supportive, positive relationships with students. Promote safe, respectful behaviour and cater for individual social and emotional needs.
Assessment and reporting:
Regularly assess, monitor, and report student progress.
Use data to inform planning and provide effective feedback to students and families.
Inclusive education:
Support the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) learners.
