An exciting opportunity to work in our campground in Lake St Clair, NSW.
The Site
Lake St Clair Campgrounds boasts unspoilt provincial camping, including 11 powered camp sites and 38 hectares of unpowered camp space. There is a concrete boat ramp (accessible at all water levels), electric and wood-fired barbecues as well as toilets and a shower block and camp kitchen.
The Role
Reporting to Park Manager, you deliver a positive guest experience through coordination of duties around the park including but not limited to daily minor maintenance and presentation of accommodation, handyman services, gardening, and cleaning tasks including cooking facilities, amenities, and waste management. Level 2 Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 – FT annualised agreement.
About You
You will be friendly, enthusiastic with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You are energetic with a hands‑on approach, attention to detail and capabilities for what is at times a physically demanding role. You possess proven experience in a similar role and available to work a flexible roster Monday to Friday.
Selection Criteria
- General handyman, maintenance, and gardening experience
- Experience operating and maintaining equipment such as lawn mowers, edgers, sweepers, whipper snippers hedge trimmers, sprayers, and basic hand tools
- Cleaning knowledge and experience
- Experience in pool management and chemical handling
- Well‑developed communication and organisation skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
- Capabilities to manage manual handling and physical task requirements
Essential
- First Aid Level 2
- Current CPR
- Current Australian Police Check (within 3 months)
- Working with Children's Check or equivalent
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Legally entitled to work in Australia
