A pleasant 3 hour drive north of Melbourne, our Cobram Food Processing Facility is located on the banks of the Murray River in the picturesque Goulburn Valley. This setting offers a relaxed lifestyle while providing great facilities for team members and their families. The Cobram site specialises in processing sheep and goats and has the ability to handle over 4,000 head per day, operating five days per week. Growing to employ over 350 team members, the Cobram facility offers excellent career opportunities across many aspects of meat processing.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting additional Team Members (Process Workers, Labourers and Afternoon Shift Sanitation Cleaning Crew) to join our Cobram Plant team!
The hourly rate starts at $28.14 (Grade 7 - entry level)
as per the JBS Australia Pty Limited Cobram Enterprise Agreement 2023. Your responsibilities will include:
- Packing or sorting of meat
- Stacking cartons onto pallets
- Trimming products
- Pushing carcases
- General labouring
About you
- Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment
- Be willing to receive a QFever vaccination
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have access to reliable transport to and from work
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Residing in the local area will be highly regarded
