Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals delivers collaborative and specialist telehealth services across a wide range of specialties, including Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Psychiatry (General, Geriatric, Child & Adolescent), Pain Management, Palliative Care, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology, Urology, and more.
We also offer Allied Health services via telehealth to NDIS participants, including Counselling, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and Mental Health Social Work.
About The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced General Practitioner to provide high-quality care to aged care residents in the Nelson Bay region. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a picturesque coastal community with a growing demand for aged care services.
In this role, you’ll work on-site at aged care facilities throughout Nelson Bay and the Port Stephens area ,
known for its stunning beaches, marine life, and relaxed coastal lifestyle. The region offers a peaceful yet connected setting—perfect for professionals seeking both purpose-driven work and a fulfilling lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty.
You’ll be supported by a multidisciplinary team including a full-time nurse, a geriatrician, and experienced administrative staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical consultations, care planning, and working collaboratively with aged care facility staff to provide patient-centered, high-quality care.

Requirements
- General or Specialist AHPRA registration without conditions (Overseas applicants are not eligible)
- Confident in using system-based reporting tools and clinical software
- A personal laptop is required to carry out your duties
Non-Vocationally Registered General Practitioners
Are you approaching Fellowship completion with RACGP or ACRRM? This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience in aged care and contribute meaningfully while finalising your training.
Daily rate: $1,700–$1,800 per day (pre-Fellowship)
