Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for community sport? Do you have the vision and drive to lead a growing gymnastics club to new heights? Cooroy Gymnastics Club is seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee operations, and build a strong, inclusive club culture.
About Us
Cooroy Gymnastics Club has been a vital part of the Noosa Hinterland community since 1988. We offer programs that cater to all ages and abilities, from recreational to competitive pathways. Our state‑level successes and strong community engagement reflect our commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and athlete development.
Your Role
As Club Manager, you will lead all aspects of the club’s operations, including:
- Club Operations & Administration – Oversee day‑to‑day business operations in alignment with the Club’s Strategic Plan; manage class enrolments, attendance tracking, and waitlists; maintain accurate records and prepare reports for Committee meetings.
- Financial Management – Issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding fees; manage office equipment and supplies; support budgeting and financial reporting in collaboration with the Treasurer.
- Marketing & Communications – Promote club events and programs through social media, newsletters, and advertising; maintain and update website content; respond to parent and community inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
- Fundraising & Grants – Identify and apply for funding and grant opportunities; coordinate fundraising events and seek sponsorships.
- Facilities & Compliance – Schedule cleaning and coordinate repairs; ensure compliance with safety standards and gymnastics regulations; maintain insurance coverage and working with children checks.
- Event & Staff Coordination – Organise club events including competitions and showcases; assist with staff and volunteer onboarding and record keeping; collaborate with the Gymnastics Team Leader and Committee to support club goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business management, ideally within a competitive sporting or community club setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead collaboratively and transparently
- Sales, marketing, and fundraising experience
- Track record of driving sustainable growth
- Tech‑savvy with experience managing systems like CRM, enrolment software, and email platforms
- Must hold a valid Working with Children Check (or be eligible to obtain one)
