Communications Officer at Temora Shire Council

Enhance Council’s connection with the community through clear, inclusive, and timely communication that supports informed participation in Council’s decisions, builds public trust, and promotes Temora Shire as a great place to live, work, invest, and visit.

Lead the delivery of both communications and community engagement activities across all Council departments, ensuring consistency with Council’s Community Engagement Strategy, Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, and organisational values.

- Starting salary from $80,177 plus 12% superannuation
- Work‑life balance – 35 hour working week / 9 day fortnight

Application Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in communications, engagement, or media management for diverse audiences




- Ability to develop and deliver communication and engagement plans aligned with organisational goals
